Will an 18-month old watch Sesame Street Live?

Has anyone seen Sesame Street Live? They are coming to our town soon, and my daughter is obsessed with Elmo.
By the time that the show opens, my daughter will be 18-months old. I was wondering if anyone has taken their kids to see the show, and if so how old their kids were at the time. She has an okay attention span now, but I’m afraid that we will take her and she will be out of control and won’t want to sit still throughout the performance (it is 90 minutes long).

I took my daughter to see SSL at 18 months old and she loved it! I couldn’t believe how still she sat, it actually held her attention for the entire show. And my daughter is not normally one of those mellow toddlers who likes to sit on mommy & daddy’s lap. She is full of energy and normally can never sit still, so it was shocking to see her this way!
I went when I was 6 or 7…my brother was 2 or 3…
kids rarely stand still during these things… most dance and jump up and down… have fun with it! Dance with her, put her on your shoulders….most of the time kids will do what other kids around them are…and they are not running around the seats, so don’t worry.
It really does depend on the child. I took my son when he was about 2 ish or so. He was enthralled the first part of the show, but when they hit intermission he thought it was over and was ready to go. He was a monster the rest of the time. (I would of just left early, but I carpooled with a friend so I couldn’t – I ended up walking around with him out by the concessions.) Keep in mind too – NONE of the kids stay still throughout the whole thing. Plenty of kids were up, dancing around, bouncing. They had a little area on the floor behind the seats that was kept open for kids to move around in too.
Sesame Street Live does tend to come back around every year or two. If you miss this one, you can do the next one, and she will be more into it I’m sure. If you take her now, I would just make sure that you plan to leave early if you have to.
I just took my son and his cousin 2 weeks ago. They are 3 and 4 and they sat through it perfectly. There were a lot of children younger than that. There were kids that sat and screamed. It was fairly entertaining. If you can bring in snacks and a drink for her that would help her. Also, if you can get the really good tickets that are on the floor, the monsters are constantly coming down and visiting the crowd.
my husband and i took our daughter who was maybe 12 months at the time to see Sesame Street Live and she loved it. She even stayed awake the entire time which surprised us. she was dancing the whole time in my fathers lap. i was about 5 months pregnant at the time and we took her to it as a last shabang before i gave birth to sextuplets
