Well, people believe in Santa because he gives them free gifts, but in reality, he doesn’t exist and the gifts are from real people.
God is basically the same concept: people believe in God because He gives them much better gifts, but in reality, He doesn’t exist and the gifts are from real people.
Agreed… god is Santa Clause for adults.
Santa Claus is a religion. See my question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtumntRzY9S.zxGpEr3YMP3sy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091223124419AA97siT for evidence.
And yes, it’s totally the same thing.
And when exactly did the bible defy logic?
because you are too narrowminded to see just how deep and personally fulfilling a spiritual belief is just because you dont share it
(oh and I did think about it before I bashed you)
If you’ve studied quantum mechanics, you will know that reality is far stranger than anything we could have imagined, including Santa Claus.
Look, there is a logical fallacy called the argument from incredulity. It says that if we can’t imagine it, it can’t be true. You can’t imagine heaven or God so they can’t be true.
