For a base – have you thought about getting a lycra spandex body suit in a navy blue or black? Kind of like the greenman from Its always sunny in Philadelphia? Seems like that would make a good base.

Do you mean paint for fabric or face painting? If you are talking about face painting, just make sure you don’t get the super cheap discount stuff because it can irritate your skin and sometimes is really difficult to remove!
