I DON’T WANT THE ESTIMATION OF THAT YEAR.
I love movies from that era or close to that era. like the new sherlock holmes.
Haven’t seen too many flicks from around that era. so any movie suggestions would be nice too along with the era so i can search for movies online. Movies don’t have to be filmed in UK. old era US films are fine too.
thanks in advance.

the 1890′s victorian era England. The opening scene takes place in 1891 in a town just outside of London. All of the architecture is victorian as well. All the families involved are wealthy for their time, therefore it doesn’t focus on the slums of the victorian era.
Some movies I really enjoy from that era are
"Hard Times"
"Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"
"From Hell"
"Sleepy Hollow"
"The Picture of Dorian Grey" (I believe it’s coming to theatres soon, actually)
"The Phantom of the Opera"
"Great Expectations"
"The Elephant Man"
"The Hound of the Baskervilles"(Sherlock Holmes adaptation)
"The Importance of Being Earnest"
then there are also ones like:
"Pride and Prejudice"
"Sense and Sensibility"
"Becoming Jane"
etc.
Sorry all I can think of right now, hope this helps!
