What is Disney like during the Halloween season?
Finally picked my date for this year and it will be the last week of September. From my understanding, that is when the Halloween Decorations/etc. are going on. What is that like? Are they just making everything a "halloween-type" atmosphere?
Then I read something about a "Not-so-Scary" Halloween party ticket that is supposed to be purchased separately. What is that and how is this ticket different than your original ticket?
Drewbens,
Does this mean that there are certain days or hours that the Halloween Party is going that guest with regular tickets can’t have access to the parks?

Halloween in Disney is very fun. All the parks, resorts and everything is themed halloween and decorated. Mickey’s not so scary halloween party is so much fun. You can dress up in a costume (or not if you prefer) get some candy as if you’re trick-or-treating (they’ll Supply you with a bag) and go on rides at the same time.
The Mickeys not so scary halloween party is a different ticket than your average Disney world day ticket. It’s as if you’re buying a ticket to a show or something. The park (Magic Kingdom) will be open during the day like usual, but after the hours everyone with a ticket to The not so scary Halloween party get to stay and celebrate and have tons of fun. Of course this is a good time to hop on some rides because there are much less people there. If you’re a fan of halloween, you’ll like it.
The price for adults is $52.00 I believe for the ticket to Mickeys not so scary Halloween party. The Decorations are also so much fun during the Halloween time. They have giant jack-o-lanterns, and fog, with tons of Orange and black, even the napkins are themed. It’s a fun time to go. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Have fun!
Halloween is fun. The magic kingdom is all decorated for the halloween. Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party is a blast. I go every years. Its a special ticket. This means they have a limited amount. The entire park is open to just the holders of these special tickets. You basically can hop on any ride without waiting in line. WIth the exception of the haunted mansion obviously. They really do up the haunted mansion bringing in fog and having ghost hang outside to entertain you while you wait in line.
The other cool thing is they set up free candy stations through the park. When you walk in, they give you a bag so as you walk around you can trick or treat.
Lastly, they have a special halloween parade and firework show that can only be seen at these parties. Its really worth the ticket.
As a castmember, I even have to pay the money to go to this party and I lost track of how many times I have been in the magic kingdom.
