I have a party to go to on friday, and I wanted to go as some unique movie character. Like from grey gardens "eddie beal" or something known. I have tights and mary janes to work with. I don’t want to spend money, so something easily made would be great. Name a couple so I have so options!
Thank you!
Also! If I wanted to dress up as Bridget Jones, what would i need for a costume?

Edie Beal is a good idea! You could get a scarf to wear cover your hair and check out the styles of the time. Most likely something glam and classic…a dress probably. You could check out Goodwill (if you don’t find that weird) or look in your Grandma’s closet.
Also, Liza Minnelli in Cabaret would be cool. If you already had black tights and shoes you would just need some black spandex shorts and a "corsety" type of top. The makeup that she wore would also help. Search her in google images!
I was thinking Patsy from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but I’m not sure how well that will work for you… (If you’ve seen the movie, I’m talking about the dude who carries the coconuts)
Bridget Jones?? what about her is a costume? unless you plan on going around in leopard panties and a jacket.
the rest of the time there isnt much of a costume about her just her wearing slightly sexy clothes to work. maybe you go with a shear shirt and black bra with black skirt like that scene
wear ‘jersey’ hair, big tacky shades and a mini skirt and be marisa tomei from ‘my cousin vinny’. a floral pattern bodysuit would be awesomely spot on
