To stay in her costume or not?

So my daughter is almost three, she has been living in her halloween for a couple days now. Do I let her keep it on or make or take it off?
I know, it should be in the toddler and preschool section, but it’s a little boring over there!

oooh I used to be dorothy all the time….I had the dress and the shoes and the basket with a stuffed chihuahua in it.
Let her keep it on, she’s only this age once and will be embarrassed to dress like that soon enough!
What is her costume??
make her take it off
nahh, she’s not hurting anything! I’d let her wear it and then maybe wash it on friday so she can wear it saturday all clean and fresh. my parents used to let me wear a minnie mouse dress to daycare for weeks at a time (literally) and I wore a tiara for my entire 1st grade year. I’d let her stay in it, I’ve always been of the mindset to choose your battles
What is the harm in letting her wear it?
just make sure it stays clean she is just having fun wearing it
I’m totally for letting her wear it. No harm.. Let her express herself. I’d be happy that she is using a Halloween costume during the season.. That movie Wild Things came out recently and brought back a memory of mine…
I use to read it around 7 or 8 years old and I would put a towel in the back of my pants, hanging out so I could pretend I had a tail.. That went on for a long time. No Halloween in site!
Yeah, if she’s enjoying it and it’s not harming her then let her wear it. My daughter (now 4) wore her Halloween costume A LOT.
She felt very special in it and enjoyed it a lot as she got attention wherever we went. Until it smells… go with it…
IMHO.
Shes not hurting anything. Let her wear it. She will take it off when shes ready. Let her be a kid.
lol take it off her bedtime and put pajamas on and the halloween costume wash it and keep it and let her use it again this weekend!
tell her to hang it and say wait..till weekend or hide it!
Totally normal my lo did that every Halloween till she was five, let her play her dress up it’s not hurting anyone!! It will get old soon enough.
Let her wear it! Why not? We had an issue with this when my niece was the flower girl in my wedding. After trying on her flower girl dress she wanted to wear it *constantly*. Which, of course, she couldn’t, because it was white and needed to be in decent shape for the big day. But a Halloween costume isn’t like that – it’s just a funny goofy thing that makes her happy. It doesn’t matter if it’s a bit worn on the "big day." I think that’s adorable, actually, that she wants to wear it all the time.
naw have fun
