my wife and i need some help on halloween costumes. we want something very creative, (ie, no salt & pepper, nut and bolt, ketchup and mustard, wizard of oz characters, etc…) we don’t want something that we can easily find online; (we’d rather make something.)
in the past we have gone as popeye and olive oyl, flinstones, old people, beetlejuice and lydia, football player and cheerleader, geek and supermodel, quail man and patty mayonaise…
again, we don’t really want anything that other people will have. (nun and priest, popular movie characters, etc…) we wouldn’t mind doing movie characters, but we’d rather it be less common.
thanks for your help!
also, we have a puppy that we would like to dress up, (doesn’t need to be the same as us.) she is a lighter haired dog, so we considered getting washable, pet-safe hair dye and dying black spots on her to make her a dalmation. but not sure how safe that stuff is. any help there would be appreciated also.

The wig is about 30 inches long… and it’s curly and black. I don’t want to be a witch or a vampire…. I was thinking maybe Greek goddess or something? I don’t know… can anyone think of any other costume suggestions? (I’m really bad at this whole costume idea thing, but somehow I got talked into going to a Halloween party!) Thanks for your help!

I’ve suddenly become intrested in making homemade masks to refresh my zit and oil stressed skin. I’ve heard stuff like lime juice can help keep pores acne free so I wanna try this out. If you know ingrediants to a homemade mask or links to ingrediants and instructions to homemade masks PLEASE tell me. And also try to give me some that have easy ingrediant to get or ones that should already be in my household. God Bless. Thanks for your help!

I am going to a jean themed party tomorrow and I need a good costume idea for my DOG. Some others are going as Juper Man (jean super man), jrides maid (jean brides maid), and a jun (jean nun).
Pretty much you just think of a costume and add jean to it. I need something that is relatively simple as the party is tomorrow.
I know this is silly so thanks for your help!

Hi
This isn’t a joke. I know mermaids are mythical, and therefore, do not exist, but I am doing a research project on how a mermaid would turn into a human, if they existed.
Thanks for your help!

I have designed Disney-esque shirts on my computer and have gotten a lot of complements as well as offers to buy shirts if I ever made one. I was wondering how I could present my ideas to Disney, despite not having any experience in the clothing industry. My designed with today’s generation in mind. Thanks for your help!

I wanna dress like a disney character for halloween since we’re going to disneyland. But me and my husband are really conservative. I don’t show lots of leg and no stomach. What is something really cute, modest and maybe original (but doesn’t have to be) that disney characters wear? Thanks for your help. Oh… and where can I get it or how can I make it really cheap??

I have always wanted to live where I could decorate my yard (a little) and dress up to sit on the porch and hand out candy. Well a couple months ago my fiance’ & I moved into a neighborhood that would allow me to do this with lots of young kids that live there also. My question is what are some inexpensive ways to decorate that would be kind of spooky? Also my fiance’ is going to dress up along with me…we would like to be kind of scary, any suggestions on something we could do inexpensive..we have some $ to spend but we should have started saving sooner but we didn’t about it. Thanks for your help

It’s a long story but I have to make pumpkin pie for dessert. I was looking for some suggestions for dinner to go with that. If you have something quick and EASY that would be even better. Please include step by step recipes if possible. Oh, one more thing please don’t say make a turkey that’s so cliche. Thanks for your help guys and gals.

Hi, Ive been searching everywhere online for onld 70′s clothing for my toddler boy. He wears 12 month, 18-24 month, 2T clothes. I am wanting to dress him for Halloween as Little Michael Jackson from Jackson Fives. I cant find anything for him to wear, and nowhere close to bellbottoms or plaid pants. Also trying to find a vest and a colorful button up shirt. I have found the wig for him, I just need clothing. Any sites or links would help. I do live in Austin Tx area, so any local places would help too! thanks for your help! I dont know how to sew to make him his own costume, and the costumes ive seen online are kinda tacky that they are selling as the disco baby. thats not exactly what im wanting. thanks!
