by just adding pumpkin and some spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves)? Do you think that would turn out ok or should I just chuck that idea and go for a real pumpkin cheesecake recipe?
canned pumpkin needs to be cooked?

I want a somewhat easy recipie for pumpkin pie from a fresh pumpkin. I would also like to know what is the best way to roast the pumpkin seeds. I don’t think I want any spices on the seeds other then salt. Thanks in advance for the help!

Anybody help?

I am thinking of a bourbon and/or brown sugar sauce, preferably one that has pumpkin pie spices — served warm, of course.

I’m using a recipe that calls for pumpkin pie spice. I know its a mix of different spices…
I have cinnamin, nutmeg, allspice, and ground clove. Anyone know what spices are in pumpkin pie spice?

I have been on a mission for years to copy a recipe for pumpkin butter that is sweetened with fruit juice instead of sugar. The only ingredients on the jar are pumpkin, white grape juice, citric acid, and spices. Any ideas, especially about the amounts and spices? BTW I’ve heard of using apple juice concentrate instead of white grape juice but want to come as close to the original as possible. Thanks!

I like Healthy Sexy Hair alright, but it doesn’t have big bottles and is a bit pricey for such small bottles. I love the smell of pumpkin and spices though.

I’m writing a vampire story but I want to come up with my own way to kill vampires. I’m making up my own vampires in general. I don’t want the typical "you kill them like this." I want suggestions that are made up.
Right now this is all I have.
Sunlight gives them something along the lines of a bad sunburn
They are deadly "allergic" to spices of any sort.
And can be killed by…? I’m thinking vampire fangs of previously killed vampire.

I am making pumpkin seeds. we just carved our pumpkins tonight-I didnt dry out the seeds. I just washed and drained them. Spread them on a cookie sheet and drizzled them with oil salt and spices.
They are in a 250 degree over and have been baking for an hour so far-but Im not sure if they are done or not-how do you tell? Should I bake them longer?
I tasted a few-if they are undercooked will they make me sick?

My neighbor bought some pumpkin spice coffee and it is so good. But when I try to flavor my coffee grounds with what I use in my pumpkin pies it just doesn’t taste as good. What spices do I add to my coffee grounds that would be as good as what I buy?

I have been making pumpkin rolls and they seem to be chewy rather than moist and soft. I have not found any different recipes to try, but there are different methods of preparation.
My recipe is: 2/3 cup pumpkin puree, 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice. Mix well and then add 3/4 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and pumpkin pie spices. Bake at 350 for 15 mins, cooked on wax paper in a jelly roll pan.
Are there any ingredients I should add or change the quantity of to make this not be chewy and to make it more moist and soft?
Thanks!
