Im 19 and thinking of studying abroad in Japan (I’ll be 20/almost 21 then). My boyfriend might be studying abroad with me (he’s a grad student so i hope :3), but I am kinda paranoid…
I like anime and videogames so I know that it will be easy for me to practice the language once I get back, but am coming across some creepy stuff about Japanese:
*Most Japanese guys are pedophiles/Japanese chicks think they are old at 30: I hear 12 yr old girls are really popular there as sex objects and that Japanese even have "toddler porn" (ages 1-3 having sex! o__0).
*Many 30+ Japanese guys are virgins so they have pillows with pictures of (preteen) girls on them that they go on dates/vacations, sleep, and have sex with…pillows…
*Japanese girls are constantly groped, followed, and even photographed by creepy guys, and they even have telephone-booth costumes to put on to hide from the creepy guys.
*They like really violent/perverted stuff such as this (anime/fashion) thing called Guro which has things such as girls being tortured, cut open, and then raped while their organs are falling out. o__0
They also have something called Vore where people have sex and then eat eachother alive…
*Japanese teenagers have escort services where they sleep with old men for money…and it’s legal…
*All the Japanese ppl I have met have been very "unique." For instance they would play a game in Japan where they wore baggy pants and tried putting their fingers up eachother’s butts..
Also heard students would commonly grope their teachers…
I took Japanese in 8th grade for a semester and my teacher taught us the words for family members: Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter, Lover. Wait, what!?
She also told us about how pillows SHAPED like humans were popular among men and women lol
I already studied abroad in Chile (South America) when i was 15-16, and I am open-minded…but I am just a bit paranoid because I have never heard of such stuff except in Japan. D: Luckily I wont be teenager when I go there (not to mention I’m naturally "sexy" so i never looked "child-like" anyways XD) so I can avoid pedos, but still…o__0;;;
I hope nobody takes offense to this. I am just curious, because my boyfriend might not be able to come with me, and I have heard very weird things about the Japanese.
