I know Halloween isn’t for a few months, but I really want to throw a party and I like planning ahead. I’m going to burn a CD with some songs that suit the dark mood, but all I can really think of is Rihanna – Disturbia, and Michael Jackson – Thriller. Since the media felt compelled to report about Michael Jackson for the past week to the exclusion of most political news; it would appear that the tribute that America has lavished upon Michael Jackson would appear to be of great political importance surpassing such things as the cap & trade bill, Obama’s trip to Russia, etc.

Therefore, based upon the fact that the endless reporting of Michael Jackson’s tribute far surpassed any other political reporting by the media……I am asking the following question in the political section of Y/A in an attempt to determine what is was about Michael Jackson that made him so much more newsworthy than any political news reports:

What did you like best about Michael Jackson ?

A) The fact that he admitted on national TV that he often slept in the same bed with other people’s young children and saw nothing wrong with it

B) The fact that he had his white wife impregnated with white sperm through in vitro fertilization so she could give birth to white children

C) The fact that he was famous for grabbing his crotch while he danced

D) The fact they he wore surgical masks in public along with his children

Why can’t they just be honest? Why do they try to make themselves look good even if it means being a flat out liar?

I wont mention the person’s name. But this person is dangerously overweight and they make it look like its ok and act as if they are proud. The last thing we need is people thinking its ok to be so huge they cant even fit in a normal chair. But nooo. NOOOO! No one can comment on it without being labeled as racist or shallow. I work in an office/lab and one of the techs smells of shit, he got up the other day from his chair and it smelled like shit no joke i wanted to puke i avoid him like the plague and he thinks im an asshole but i cant bear to tell him if thats not bad enough i have a woman she wears sleevles tank tops with hairy armpits i though she had someone in a headlock and her pits smell sickening they could put a man to sleep. Michael jackson should have visited this woman she would have gave him something for his insomnia. What can i do should i go all out and tell these people or maybe i should just walk in with a mask one day…a subtle hint

I e-mailed something to a former co-worker and friend today about Michael Jackson that someone had forwarded to me. It was a compilation of photos showing his "transformation" from a really sweet looking young child to the rather scary mask face of his last years. The caption beneath the photo said, "If this is what was happening on the outside, imagine what was going on inside?"
Maybe you’ve seen it since it seems to be making the rounds.

I forwarded it to a number of my friends with the notation that I felt bad for MJ, that he’d gone from a sweet young boy to the creepy, tragic and tormented figure that he apparently was in his last days. I hope he does rest in peace.

She sent me an e-mail saying that I should "let the man rest in peace" and I was to "do her a huge favor and remove her name from my mailing list".

Granted, I was never a fan of the man or his music and I sure didn’t approve of his fascination with young, defenseless children.

But I think it is clear that the poor guy was a tragic figure and a real poster child for the effects of child abuse. From what I’ve read, his father was brutal and inflicted untold mental anguish on the young MJ.
I find that inexcusable.

Should I attempt to apologize to my former friend? In the past she has felt free to circulate nasty and malicious e-mails to me of a political nature despite my many requests for her to stop. She’s usually a nice person but has certain "blind spots" and apparently I touched a nerve today. She often feels free to lecture me on how good Christians ought to behave, so I’m a little stumped.

The world has changed in the blink of God’s eye. He has taken it upon Himself to bring home one of His own. He realizes the impact this will leave on us but He has a greater plan. Was there so much pain we didn’t know? Was the greatness only a mask? There are questions we will most likely never get answers to, but we will go on and remember. The swine flu is no deadlier than any other strain of flu out there. According to the CDC annually 36,000 people die from Flu related causes. The equates to 3,000 people per month. Why isn’t everyone up in arms about that? Why don’t you go around wearing exterminator masks so you won’t catch the regular flu which is just as likely to kill you or your baby? I have never received a flu shot nor contracted the flu, riddle me that. Option 1) Never eat your 5 favorite major ingredients ever again. you can’t eat anything at all made with them. (for instance for me it would be cheese, chocolate, chicken, pasta & bread.) whatever those 5 are, you can’t have anything containing those items again or you’ll die. Option 2) Share a passionate night (minimum of 6 hours) of love making with richard simmons. if you choose this then you get to eat whatever you want for life & not gain weight or have any bad effects like heart disease or diabetes no matter what you eat or how much of it you eat.
