I am going to a Masquerade ball this october, anytime period from 1500 to 1850′s or so, and I am going as a Italian Renaissance Princess, my dress is dark blue with a white under dress or chamise, and I have a fan and everything but the only thing I am missing is a mask. And I don’t know where to find any good ones because well, they all look cheap or scream costume. Does anyone know a good place to get pretty, even beautiful masks. Preferably I’d like it to be simple but elegent. No feathers or anything. Maybe glittery but not so much that it’ll get all over my hands everytime I touch it. Got any suggestions? Thanks!

anyone know what is the history behind dressing up in costumes on halloween? i’m familiar with history of halloween itself but not the dressing up part. i remember reading when i was a kid that a particular culture celebrated halloween a long time ago by cutting the faces of the dead and wearing them as masks while dancing around a fire. has anyone ever heard this? please include source if possible thank u

is it safe? will i have breakouts after i use them? will the chemicals in the mask harm my young skin? i bought a mask at the hypermarket. Then my mom said i should not use masks because my skin is still young and pimple may start growing. Is it true? The name of the mask is MONTAGNE JEUNESSE radiant complexion whitening mask.

My friend and i have a project to do about masquerade balls, and we were wondering if during our presentation if we should include the class in a game of some kind. Nothing ike jeopardy or anything like that, but some sort of creative idea that gets them involved and makes them excited to learn about our topic any ideas?
by the way our presentation will cover the history of masquerades, costumes including masks aswell as festivities (dances etc)

I have black heads and some pimples and I was wondering if there are any cheap, effective skin masks that I could try to get rid of them. My skin isn’t overly oily but it can get oily sometimes.

Like the masks in the Cinema Bizarre ft Space Cowboy video, or the Axe commericals, or the "Your Love Is My Drug" video by Ke$ha.
Please help out. Deeply appreciated
