i am 13 and i need a Halloween costume appropriate for school. Also no mask but face paint is totally allowed. I was thinking a pirate or witch. I was just going to go to the local Party America and pick something up. But i could also just make something at home really looking for a person who has tannish skin (even though my avatar is really white) because im mixed with african american and german. So what do you think and also if what every you idea is has a site please tell me what it is. THanks

I’m thinking of dressing up as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran for Halloween. I’m getting the mask from http://www.newsgroper.com/free-masks and that site is clearly making fun of him. Once I cut the mask out, it might not be clear. I don’t want people to think I support him. Anyone have any ideas on how to make it clear that my costume is a joke / ironic?
@So Simple: I don’t think the site has any real agenda… its a humor news site. I don’t think they *hate* Ahmadinejad, they’re just making fun of him. They also have free downloadable Halloween masks of Britney Spears, Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, Ron Paul, etc…

I think the masks are in good clean fun. I just wonder if that is still communicated once they are are cut out and worn.

Ok, so in gym class, they mix the normal kids with the mentally ill kids, i have no problem with it, until today. Well for you to totally understand the story ill have to describe myself. I am a senior at my high school, i am 6 foot 8 and 350 lbs, i have hair that engulfs my face (if youve seen the new halloween movie, i look like michael without the mask, with all that hair lol) i ussually wear a biker vest, a black tshirt, camo pants, and combat boots, but i am nice as i can be to everyone i meet, i hold doors open for everyone, i let other people go in front of me, etc. and in my gym glass there is a mentally ill kid, hes a freshman kinda small, and has a voice that sounds like a toddler (if that sounds offensive in anyway i am sorry), well today we got our locks to put on our lockers, so i put mine on my gym locker and while walking out the kid says something that i couldnt understand, something about his lock, all i could understand was something about turning it full last time, and i said " no man, you just go right to the last number" and then he said something i couldnt even begin to make out, and i said "i am sorry man, i cant help you, i gotta go" (and i did have to leave and go back to the gymnasium) so then he gave me this death stare for a few seconds, so i just said "ill see you man" and i glanced at him and he was still looking at me. So about 5 minutes later, hes walks back into the gym were everyone else is, and about every 15 seconds hed look at me, then he walked over to the teacher , and walked back and about 20 seconds later the gym teacher called me over to him, and said hey man, "do you have an ipod", at first i was like what? and completely confused, and he said "One of the kids said you were listening to an ipod, idont really care though ill let you off this time" and i dont even have an ipod, and also i dont think the PE teacher cared, I think he just didnt want to upset the kid, so all day ive been thinking "why does that kid hate me"
if there is anybody who could help me that would great also could you tell me how to get along with this kid, i really dont want him to think i am a mean kid, because i am not

In the band i’m in i’m writing a song about ppl who just put on a mask and try to hide behind that without showing who they really are, but i’m stumpted-having a brainfart, and i can’t find any further inspiration to help me complete the song. Does anyone know any various places in the bible where it mentions ppl, things, or any of the related,that do so because they’re ashamed or are just running from something they’re afraid of?

Im trying to help my friend out with his costume, hes gonna be freddy krueger for halloween.
I know there freddy masks they sell at stores, but we want to try and do it ourselves. I cant imagine its that hard, and Im a pretty crafty person but havent ever tried anything past face-painting and paper-mache in the realm of masks.

Some ideas i have are working with liquid latex(which i read about in a book). I also heard of rigid collodion, but im not sure thats what i need.
My biggest issue is in how im going to texturize the bumps/scars on his face, i figure i can just paint the muscle on the flat surfaces that remain.
Any ideas would help A LOT, thanks

my brother wants to be winnie the pooh for halloween but he doesn’t want the regular costumes. He wants the kind of costumes you see at disney with the full mask that completely covers the head. I guess you could say he wants the professional costume. Anyone know where I could get this? Thanks
