My family has been planning a one day trip(we are Florida residents) to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on August 12th 2009. We have been saving money for the trip for quite some time, and seeing as school starts back on the 17th, it is the only day we can go. Does anyone know what the crowds will be like around this time?
Please any help is appreciated, Thank you!

We’re planning to go to Disney World this summer, but we are only going to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. So just these two parks please.

We will be going to Disney World for 4 days & 4 nights, Sunday through Wednesday preceding Thanksgiving. We are 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We will be visiting Animal Kingdom, MGM, Epcot, & Magic Kingdom and we will have a rental car. I can find a hotel using Trip Adviser, but I can not figure out which location is the most convenient area or the nicest area to stay. Also, if you would like to suggest a hotel, then we need one with breakfast in internet. Thanks!

We are going to Florida next week and were planning on visiting Disney World for a total of 3 days. I know we want to go to Animal Kingdom, but I am torn what other parks we should go to; Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, Epcott. I want to make sure we go to the parks that are suited best for a 5 year old.

When Magic Kingdom opens, most guest head to three main rides: Space Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, and Splash Mountain. With the latter two rides being in roughly the same area, how should one adjust the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World"’ touring plan?

I know there is a ferry or the bus service, but do those take a lot of time? It’s hard to tell on the disney map because everything looks soooo far apart. Thanks!
I am thinking of staying in downtown disney. How long does it take to get to the magic kingdom/universal if we take the ferry or the disney bus? Thanks!

3 of my friends and I are planning to go to Disney-world for graduation in 2011 and were wondering how long we should plan to spend in the parks
We don’t plan to go to any of the water parks, just The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood studios and Animal Kingdom.
We would also like at least half a day shopping in Downtown Disney.
We’re planning to go in July, which I know is peak season, so the parks may be busy. And we’re also planning to stay in a disney hotel, so we get the extra time in the morning and at night.
What would you recommend?

My family and relatives r going to Disney World. I’ve been there once before 5 years ago and we went to one of the waterparks, Animal Kingdom, and the Magic Kingdom. I forgot a lot of things tho. I have to choose 3 theme parks only (no waterparks since time is tight). So which 3 do u recommend?

I’m going to Disney in April and planning in advance–I have two teenage boys. I was wondering if there were two sections of Disney that we must check out. I’ve heard that–
Hollywood Studios is the worst
Epcot is for adults
Magic Kingdom is for little kids
Animal Kingdom is a zoo
My kids love thrill rides and were most excited about Hollywood Studios but we heard there isn’t much to do there. We’d love your advice!

My husband and I are planning to take our kids (1 and 4 years-old) to Magic Kingdom for just one day in July while we are in Fl. We would like to stay close to the park but we are budget-minded. Is a moderately priced resort worth the extra expense compared to an All-Stars hotel or even hotel outside of Disney?

I’m planning a trip to Walt Disney World with a group of people with different interests. We’d like to split up during the day and meet up later. There are 8 attractions that we know about:
1) The Magic Kingdom
2) EPCOT
3) MGM Studios
4) The Animal Kingdom
5) Walt Disney World Speedway
6) Wide World of Sports
7) Disney’s Boardwalk
Downtown Disney
Is there bus service between all of them? Is it one bus that goes in a loop or can you take a more direct route between them? Can you walk between some of them? What is the best way without a car? Thanks!

Me and my husband are visiting Magic Kingdom the week before Christmas, and just wondering if all the characters walking around will be dressed up in christmas attire? As this is my husband’s first visit ever, I was hoping to get lots of pictures with the traditional characters outfits not christmas costumes.
