Little kids watch that show. Why would they care about fox ??
I understand if the director or whatever doesn’t like fox news, but i never new dumocrats would go that far. Let’s just hope that the kids watching that episode don’t turn into bigots like them :)

Why do they still make episodes of Sesame Street?

Don’t get me wrong, I think its a brilliant show. But they have episodes already for all of the letters and numbers, and more episodes that a kid would watch at the age where he or she would like Sesame Street. Wouldn’t it make financial sense to just show reruns, little kids would never tell the difference.
There’s something ironic about telling someone to use "Common Sence." Obviously you didn’t understand the question.

Think about it before you bash me. The people who believe in Santa are typically little kids, and its a fairy tale we tell our young kids. As adults, we know that the idea of a fat man in a red suit, with eight reindeer traveling to EVERY house in the world in one night is absurd. It seems to me that an omnipotent, omniscient being in "heaven" that created heaven and earth from nothing, gave his son to save us, and everything according to the bible is more absurd. The bible defies common logic, just as the story of Santa Claus does.

So last month my family and I went to Disneyland. Most of the trip was fun except for the extreme nuisance of little children (about 5 and under). Sure, there was the few families of children who were quite, and the very rare who were actually giggling and having a good time, but the majority of children from 5 years to infancy threw the most incredible tempertantrums, screamed on top of their lungs, nonstop crying, and overall were on anything but good behavior.

I’ve only gone to Disneyland twice, once when I was 9 and my brother was 7, and last month when I was 16 and my brother was 14.

But my family and I do not understand why families couldn’t wait until:
1. Their child was past the screaming, crying, temper-tantrum stage
2. Their child was tall enough to go on most if not all the rides
3. Their child was old enough to enjoy the rides, shows, parades, and people in costume without being too scared.
And most importantly:
4. They were old enough to remember going on a trip to Disneyland.

Even when I was 9 I could only remember the most funnest rides, but I couldn’t imagine how a baby or a toddler could remember going to Disneyland. I think to make disneyland the most special vacation you’d want to go without being stressed out about taking care of your kids when they’re throwing temper tantrums or too scared on the rides or have to wait outside the lines with them because they’re not old enough or tall enough to go on the rides.

To me it was a lot funner going as a teenager because I can remember everything and I was a lot more appreciative of going to Disneyland and spending time with my family. So why would you take your little kid to Disneyland?
i know half the park was for little kids, and I’m not saying all the little kids were horrible, but everywhere we went there were kids screaming and crying and throwing temper-tantrums.

It was a topic my family and I discussed a lot in Disneyland, that’s why my parents waited until we were older until they took us, because they wanted us on good behavior and wanted to enjoy it and remember it.
2nd poster: I’m not saying that, I’m saying that they won’t be as appreciative of it and more well behaved as when they’re older.
I went for a week and every day we’d go on the bus to get to the park there’s screaming kids, at all the restrooms and restaraunts and lines for the rides there were screaming kids.

I was 16 when I went and my brother was 14 and there is noooo way we would run off at Disneyland, even though we had cell phones. It was waaayyyy to crazy crowded to even get seperated. And lucky you to get to go every year.

Chuck E. Cheese confusion?

i went to chuck e. cheese last night with my one year old niece and i was very dissapointed…where you are do they:
1. do the shows with all the animals every 20 or so min?
2. have a real chuckie (person in costume) come out like all the time, and you can go see him and stuff
{at the other one around here they do these things but this new one didn’t}
3. do they have ball pits for the kids?
{one of ours used to but they took it out and this newer one didn’t have one, usually they ae at the begginning of the tunnel}
…there was hardly wanything for little kids to do….they had a toddler zone with a slide, 2 rides, and 2 games, and then stuff for bigger kids (4-8)…but most of their games are geared towards teens and grown-ups..is this what chuck E. cheese is becoming?….i think it’s crazy

Is Sesame Street adult content?

Fox News just said that there is a Warning on the new Sesame Street DVD that it’s for adults only, because of stupid stuff like the cookie monster eating cookies and so he will get diabetes.
So I guess all of you guys are with me on this one huh. Great. Now if only they would see that and change there mind.
sunfir26, little kids don’t care about being politically incorrect.

Genderqueer-friendly Wal-Mart commercial?

Have any of you seen one of the Halloween Wal-Mart commercials? It includes some Halloween costumes for little kids, and it says something like, "So what will it be? Spiderman or Cinderella? Superman or Snow White?"

That left me wondering. Normally the gender of the child would decide between those costumes. So what do you think? Are they talking about some genderqueer children or is it just a slip that no one noticed?

Normally, I think it would have been more like, "Cinderella or Snow White? Superman or Spiderman?" Does that make sense?
Here it is: http://walmartstores.com/Video/?id=1144

And the costumes are "Batman or Snow White? Cinderella or Spiderman?" I was close.

What are some clever Halloween costume ideas?

I dont have time to go get anything, so i would need to only use things that i would have around the house. Also, im 16 so it should be a more mature costume, not for little kids…

What is Na-root-too?

I went to the San Diego Comic Con this summer and all these little kids were saying Naroottoo Naroottoo NAROOTTOO! They were all dressed up and saying spells and stuff and some guy gave out Naroottoo masks. They said Naroottoo was big.

In one line to meet Jim Lee there was two guys looking for Naroottoo costumes. Each time the other saw one first he would shout, "NAROOTTOO!" and punch the other guy in the shoulder.

I think this Naroottoo is some sort of low-grade anime type Japanese cartoon for little kids around 5 or 6. Is that Naroottoo? Or is it a ninja guy that eats crackers with some metal thing on his head? I think they had metal things that they eat stuff with or it is part of the little kids’ costume. Anyways I know the really little toddlers liked this Naroottoo a lot.

Can anyone help?
Okay so it is Naruto? Well they said Nah-root-two or Naroottoo. And I only saw the littlest of kids as these Narutoes or Naroottoos or whatever. It seemed most of the teenagers were making fun of the little Narutoes or Naroottoos. I guess most of them thought it was a loser thing to watch or do like Pokemon or Barney.

That’s how they were talking about it. I waited in a long line and other people compained about the Narutoes / Naroottoos as well. Most normal Con goers were upset at all of them and once this guy dressed as Eltroman came by. He had a shocking stun gun thing come out of his finger. It shot around 6 inches. A bunch of people asked him to shock the Narutoes / Naroottoos. He laughed and a bunch of other people laughed and said that would be a good idea. He didn’t shock them though…he ended up shocking this guy in a really cool Galactus costume though.
It is Naurto according to Lone Wolf then I heard Naruto and Narooto as well as Narutoo or Naroottoo. I am so confused? What does this mean? Is it Japanese for torture?
Okay – I just heard Naroottoo eats a hogie. Or that he does a "hogey dogey". Is this the Hokey Pokey? Or does he use the metal thing to eat the hogies? Somebody told me just a minute ago in a chat room that Naroottoo / Naruto / Naurto always says, "I want a hogie!". Is he fixated on eating hogie sandwiches?

Last year was great, about 30 some little kids (ages 3 to 8 or so) we had tons of normal food and halloween food, fog machine, fog bubble machine, scary dj music, tons of halloween decorations, we have a trampoline, prize bucket, and a few easy games. So how do we one up it this year? These are little kids… What about mazes and stuff like that? Any ideas?
