I’m thinking of dressing up as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran for Halloween. I’m getting the mask from http://www.newsgroper.com/free-masks and that site is clearly making fun of him. Once I cut the mask out, it might not be clear. I don’t want people to think I support him. Anyone have any ideas on how to make it clear that my costume is a joke / ironic?
@So Simple: I don’t think the site has any real agenda… its a humor news site. I don’t think they *hate* Ahmadinejad, they’re just making fun of him. They also have free downloadable Halloween masks of Britney Spears, Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, Ron Paul, etc…

I think the masks are in good clean fun. I just wonder if that is still communicated once they are are cut out and worn.

Today was Michael’s funeral and I watched it and was sad. When Paris came up, I was expecting some black in her, I was totally taken back by her blue eyes and brown straight hair and white skin. After seeing pictures of Prince (the first) and Paris, I started wondering if they really are his kids, and where is the third kid at? Why no pictures of him? Also why did the kids wear masks? Did they really wear halloween masks around to avoid the cameras? Whats up with the surangant mother? And please don’t think I don’t like Michael or his kids, he’s a pretty cool guy and I am sorry if I offended anyone!
I do agree with you Laken, even if he is not their biological father he is their their father.

Where can i find a costume shop in sydney??

halloween masks.. costumes etc..

As long as I can remember, I’ve seen people wearing halloween masks like the one in the movie Scream. (I was born in 1994) I never thought about it, but were those made by the movie Scream or did Scream just use the masks in the movie?

A few years back there used to be Halloween masks you could paint yourself. They came in witch, skull, and zombie I believe. I can’t seem to find them this year. Does anyone remember what company made them and if you can still get them?

Halloween Masks?

Where are some good places to buy halloween masks, that look great but aren’t too expensive? I tried going to Party City but they didn’t have very many choices.

I started collecting Halloween masks about 6 years ago. I typically had them mounted on my walls, stuffed with newspaper. When I took some of them down to change the display this year I noticed that many of them are dry, stiff, crumbling and/or cracked. This didn’t bother me with some of the cheaper masks but one of my favorites is starting to show similar signs. Is there anyway to alleviate this dryness in the material, which I suspect is latex for all of them. Also, is there a good way to prevent this from happening while they are on display. It seems selective. My oldest mask must be 10-14 years old and has no dryness at all, but newer ones, less then a few years old are all but ruined.

The black halloween masks that you can get at most any costume store.
