Does anyone know anything about Grover from Sesame Street, like maybe a motto he said a lot or just something that if someone heard it they would think about Grover? i have to do a "commercial" for a class and my object was a stuffed Grover. Ive looked online and all i can find is kids games to play, that doesnt help me. if you know anything or maybe even a good website please help me out. Thanks in advance

Big Bird has been my favorite Sesame Street character since day 1, but was the Bird overrated? I mean, when people(generally older fans) usually mention the show, they say they liked Cookie Monster or Oscar or Ernie or Grover. No Big Bird. So, was he overrated? Even though he was the "unofficial star" of the show, did he really have that much of a fan base? Plus, he’s not on the show as much as he used to be, which saddens me from time to time. What’s become of him?

Anyone know exactly what ages the Sesame Street characters are suppose to be? All the main ones…Big Bird,Cookie Monster,Elmo,Grover,Oscar etc…especially Bert and Ernie!

Back in the day, there WAS no Elmo. There was Grover, and life was good. It seems that Elmo has usurped Grover’s rightful role as lovable furry monster. I think Elmo needs his own show and the Street needs to return to being the Street.

Most other characters have a regular name: Oscar the Grouch, Elmo, Grover, etc. Some years ago, in one episode, they tried giving Big Bird a regular name. The kids hated it, and they dropped it. Can you remember or find it digging around online?
