I always though that if it was Walt’s idea then it was a walt disney movie and if not it was Disney movie. I recently found out that’s not true. so what makes something a disney movie and what makes it a walt disney movie?

The actors or performers who spend all day in character costumes must have a high tollerance for being overworked and overheated, especially those life-sized Disney Characters. With all that dancing and walking around that they do, how in the world do the performers in those costumes manage to see where they’re going? So far, I’ve never heard about them knocking people over, or crashing into things. I’m sure it gets quite hot and stuffy in those costumes when they have to work.

How does Walt Disney World preferred viewing area work (for Illuminations and Wishes)?
Where are these areas and how do staff know to let you in?
Thanks

Me and my four best friends are either trick-or-treating or hosting a Halloween party this year. We’re all between the ages of 15-17. Pretty much, we wanna dress up as a theme. Last year we were all Disney related (I was Jesse from TS2, someone was Tinkerbell, etc). We were going to be the Fanta Girls this year, but then we added another member to our little gang. So I’m asking, does anyone else have any ideas for 5 teenage girls to be for Halloween? Must be unique, and not TOO skanky…:\
Thanks!

We (my future wife and I) are going to Disney World in late September and we already have hotel, airfare, and transportation but now we are looking for deals on Disney Parks, Universal Parks, and Dining. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you’ve answered this you can disregard.. But I really want to know why this is such a big issue with some people. I feel that if your child knows not to put their fingers in their mouth then its fine. Alot of people feel that painting their childs nails makes them grow up too soon or makes the child think they are too grown.. I think this is totally ridiculous. A child will be grown not by nail polish but by what she is being taught. To me its just mommy and daughter time. A time to bond and do each others nails.. Let me ask you, the costumes that Disney sells for little girls with the heels and the ear rings, do you not let your child wear the heels because it will make her think she is too grown or make her grow up too fast? Just really think about it.. Why do you not paint your daughters finger nails if she asks? Some people are so against it and its crazy to me.. Now I wouldn’t take her to a salon to get them done but I don’t mind painting my 3yr olds nails myself.

I’ve been to Disney 4 times.
We’re planning a trip for this fall break(20th-24th) a short mini vacation to the world!
We have been in Christmas and in the summer time.
Never in the fall.
What’s it like?
Is it cooler than the summer?
Is it less crowded?
ect.

My eight-year-old wanted to watch the Teen Choice awards last night, and after seeing what Miley Cyrus was wearing I had to have a talk with my daughter about how bad it looks for a fourteen-year-old to be dressed like that. Doesn’t Disney Channel have something written in her contract that she shouldn’t be wearing such revealing clothing? She was wearing an extremely low-cut dress with her cleavage exposed. I was shocked! Would complaining to the network do any good?
15 years ago when I was 13, I wore T-shirts and jeans, not cleavage-baring tops.
Strangely enough, they do, in fact, make gowns without a low v-neck. It’s not like a low-cut dress was the only thing available.

Disney is thinking of launching a Minnie Mouse line aimed just at teen/tweens, so it would help if those age groups (8-19) answered this question. Is Minnie Mouse popular at your age? What kind of stuff would you buy (clothes, erasers, collectibles, journals, etc.)? Why would you or wouldn’t you buy Minnie products?
Sorry for all the questions. 10 pts for best answer

or
2) http://www.disneystore.com/girls-little-mermaid-costume/p/1245281/57493/
For my god daughter who is 7:

or
4) http://www.disneystore.com/girls-ballerina-tinker-bell-costume/p/1241484/57493/
Which ones do you like best? The girls like both and can’t decide which one they like best. I like the first one the best only because its going to be pretty hot when we go.

My family has been planning a one day trip(we are Florida residents) to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on August 12th 2009. We have been saving money for the trip for quite some time, and seeing as school starts back on the 17th, it is the only day we can go. Does anyone know what the crowds will be like around this time?
Please any help is appreciated, Thank you!
