I’m going to a costume party, and I have no idea what to wear, how to do hair or makeup. My bf and I are going to the party as Jake Sulley and Neytiri from Avatar. I already know that they are blue skinned and everything and that will be a huge component of this party. I was going to get blue body paint- then I thought airbrushing would be better, but I also think the color will be off and it will be too light if I airbrush it. Most of all, what kind of clothes should I wear? I’m not going in a bikini and loincloth, lol. My bf already knows what to wear… White tank and army capris. (: He’s HOT. lol
Any suggestions, whether you just thought of them or you googled them, would be great. Please don’t give me links to youtube vids, as I don’t want to copy their exact looks and I haven’t found a tutorial that looks completely right, or has a clothing guide included anyway. Maybe links to good wigs, makeup products, body art or henna suggestions, clothing, etc etc. Please be as creative as possible. Also… for the white dots on the avatar face, should I use mini-mini-mini stick on crystals or just white paint dots?

I’m going to a costume party next Friday and I need a realistic Spiderman costume. I’m 15, so I would need an adult size, not kids, and I am not interested in the ones that are puffy or inflatable. I want it to look real. I need it by Friday, so it can’t be from China where it will take 2 or 3 weeks to get here. The cheaper the better, but quality comes first.

Hi, so I am attending a costume party soon and I was thinking about going as tinkerbell. a lot of the tinkerbell costumes I have seen online really don’t look much like the actual tinkerbell cartoon. I was watching Wizards of Waverly place with my little cousin and I saw the costume that Selena Gomez was wearing and I fell in love with it. Can anybody give me advice on how to recreate it?

I’m going to a huge costume party tomorrow and I’m wearing a store bought halloween costume. It’s got a black and pink top and a black and white striped tutu and pink sleeve thingys. The party is kinda a big deal and I know a lot of people that are getting really intense with their costumes so how can I make mine more interesting???

There’s a /big/ costume party in my town around Halloween, so I wanna go all out with my costume.
I have a vampire forehead prosthetic (Roughly like this one- http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh319/christyleemakeup/IMG_4157.jpg But the edges blend MUCH nicer.) some Scarecrow Shredder fangs, and so far that’s it.
What else should I add? I’m thinking maybe a hooded cloak, but I’m not sure if that’s too cliche. I want it to be a bit unconventional, which is why I’m wanting a demonic look too. Basically, I just want to look terrifying. I wanna look vicious, like I could snap and kill someone any second.
By the way, I’m a chick. But I don’t need to look feminine at all.

Halloween is coming up soon. My cousin is making a costume party this friday. I know what I’ll be: I already have the catwoman haircut (from the movie catwoman). All I need is a leather black mask and a black whip. Does anyone know what store I could find those props? I don’t want to shop online–hate it and it’s slow when I order stuff.
