This Friday my town is having a pet costume contest and I would like to enter my dog. He is a golden retriever (however, small for his breed). What are some good costume ideas for him? Please keep in mind that I will also take him trick or treating in this costume so it needs to be comfortable for him as well as allow him to go to the bathroom.
Yeah it’s cruel when it comes to those people who do it on an everyday basis. However, this is just for Halloween and I don’t think he will hate me if it’s just for one day.

I’m going to see Harry Potter 6 at midnight with a group of my friends and we are all supposed to dress up. However, we are not allowed to dress up as wizards, we have to get more creative. Therefore my friends are dressing up as Hedwig, Crookshanks, a Firebolt, and a Golden Snitch. I’m having trouble coming up with a creative idea. I’m drawing a blank on costume ideas…last year I went with my brother as the guys from Dumb & Dumber…looking for something new…no zombie/vampire stuff…I can pull off the Captain Morgan look, but I think with the Pirates movies, that type of costume will be a little too common…

I don’t want anything overly crude either, like costumes of the male or female genitalia…

And I don’t want to dress up as a girl – did that one halloween, it was funny, got a few laughs, but I don’t want to do it again…

So far, this is what were doing:
Link(I’m a girl, but I’ve seen a lot of girls dressed up as Link before), Luigi, and Mario. So we need another idea for an easy Nintendo character costume for a girl. We already had the idea of Daisy, but she doesn’t want to do that. It doesn’t have to be a Mario character either..thanks.

I was thinking something like inbetween the mix of like queen of the damned vampries and the traditional vampire, as in i’ll wear the cape if it it doesn’t look silly.

I have a interesting question: I want to dress up like buffy the vampire slayer as my costume for halloween. (not the movie buffy the tv series buffy) I have blonde hair already but I plan making it lighter by bleaching it blonde and I already know i will be bringing in a wood stake as her weapon you commonly see she uses. What i want to know is besides high heels and dressed up top with jeans what else can i do to "really" look like her? any suggestions be great.
