I’m pretty sure this is what a Christmas Acara is supposed to look like. The one I adopted is that, without the santa costume.
Ten Points to the person who explains how to make her look like a Christmas Acara!

Any tips for connecting fairy lights to brickwork?

My wide wants me toconnect some fairy lights for Christmas. but this means that i need to attach them to the bricks of our house. I’ve seen the more popular clips and suction cups but haven’t seen anything that would fix the lights to bricks.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the best way to clean felt?

After my husbands grandfather died, we found a felt Christmas tree skirt that his grandmother had made. Unfortunately it is off white and is dirty. I had put it away to clean later. (when I figured out how to). Then last weekend I found a very old santa suit at an estate sale. It also needs cleaned.
Can you dry clean felt? or are there other ways to get felt clean?
I don’t want to ruin either of these items. Help!

So I need help with this one…. My boy friend and i have been together 3months spent halloween and thanksgiving together….. with christmas around the corner… Confused!!! Should I put up a stocking for him? we spend everyday together and I have two toddlers that asked me where his stalking was??? And should I envite him to sleep over on christmas eve?? AWKWARD!!! Im sure we will go christmas shopping for the kids together and stuff… what would you do?

I’ve been to Disney 4 times.
We’re planning a trip for this fall break(20th-24th) a short mini vacation to the world!
We have been in Christmas and in the summer time.
Never in the fall.
What’s it like?
Is it cooler than the summer?
Is it less crowded?
ect.

I’ve always LOVED Christmas and the season. Not even so much the gifts, although I do love when you look forever to find the perfect gift for that one impossible to but for person; and find it! But I mean I LOVE the lights, and smells, and sounds and just overall family spirit of the season. Our family has lots of little get togethers, be it a family dinnner, home party ect. And everyone’s houses are all lite and decorated ect. I have a 2.5 YO daughter and am due in 29 days with #2! I think the past few years with her have made me want to start "Christmas" in september! LOL. I find it sooo hard to resist in the first few weeks after Halloween not to rip the Christmas things down from the attic and make spiced cider and watch frosty the snowman 6000 times. I manage to hold off simply because I don’t want to rush it and make it lose and of it’s magical 2 YO luster. But if I had it my way, hubby would have been leaning over the roof yesterday to hang the icicle lights LOL. Anyone think they are MORE affected because of their kids; especially toddlers? I also think it’s so much worse for me being as I am due at the very beginning of Dec and will likely end up (if I don’t go into labor on my own) with a repeat c-section.So basically from Dec 3-Dec 17ish I will be out of comission. So I either have to have it ALL done by Decemeber or wait to do it all until just a weekish before. I’ve already got basically all of my shopping done, at least what is "in store" now it’s left to me and online ordering LOL
My 20 month old has used crayons/markers since she was 1.5 She is always supervised so why not? She has really good dexterity and is able to handle regular sized markers/crayons. Try the Crayola "Color Wonder" marker line. It’s the marker that ONLY write on the special paper. That way there is NO chance of a mess!
Well she’s actually 2.5 now; I ment when she was 20 months old LOL

My daughter’s 2nd birthday is in February and she loves Woody from Toy Story so I thought it would be cute to do a cowgirl themed birthyday considering she got pink cowboy boots and hat for Christmas. I need some ideas for a pink cowgirl birthday. Anybody?

I play Santa in a small town. After a Santa job, there is no sense to go home and take the wig and suit off if you see other families get togethers. I like to spread the greeting of Christmas with other kids for free, but some will offer money when I leave. SHOULD I TAKE THE MONEY WHEN OFFER, OR JUST PLAY IT OFF AND WISH THEM A MERRY CHRISTMAS?

What do you think Santa will bring you for Christmas this year? If he comes to my house again this year, I will sit on my front porch with my rocken chair, Having my shot gun in my hand waiting for that fat man in the red suit to step foot on my roof. Last year he stole my Christmas Tree, My presents, and my Christmas lights. If I see that guy again Ima shoot him.

What would you include in a zombie survival kit?

Ahah. My friend is a little zombie-centric and I wanted to get him a zombie survival kit for Christmas. Ideas?

Halloween Costume? Sally and Vampire?

Okay, so for Halloween this year, I was thinking about being either Sally from ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ or a vampire. I can’t decide, which would be why I would like your opinion. And how to make these costumes. I reeeeaaaaly want to have a good costume for halloween this year.
The store bought ones look stupid…

and I was thinking I would take an old dress, i never wear, and go to a store, by some plain fabric in different colors and draw like swirls and things. and do patchwork.

For example:

Today marks the 2 month anniversary that my 4 year old has been wearing a tiara (she got it for christmas)

A relative that saw her about a month ago said "omg she’s still wearing that thing" and I said "yeah" and she said "get a backbone sweety and show her some authority"

Another example: I’ve always allowed both of my daughters (6 year old doesn’t care to do it anymore) to wear their costumes throughout the entire year not just on Halloween so if one of them wakes up thinking "hmm today I’ll dress like JoJo the Clown" and we have no where important to go that day well she can be jojo the clown or spiderman or whatever they want to dress like. Again, people (mostly snotty relatives) will assume that my kids are controlling me when in reality they asked and I said yes.

Does this ever happen to any of you?

Does bug you as much as it bugs me?

I want to buy theses masks 4 my children 4 christmas. They r afraid of the dark. This may help.

simple computer program for toddlers?

can anyone recommend a simple, fun computer program for toddlers (my daughter is 2). I wasn’t planning on getting her any computer things till preschool (and even then, it was going to be very limited), but today she begged me to try the computer and I went on Nick Jr. with her to play a few games. She totally lost it…she thought it was the coolest, funnest thing in the world. She was talking a mile a minute to the computer screen (it was Dora and Diego’s costume machine…) So now I want to get her something for christmas…Anyone know of one that’s simple, but fun, and educational? Thanks!
