I’m starting to make my Darth Vader halloween costume early, and have a lot of it done from fabrics I’ve purchased at Jo-Ann’s Fabrics and other materials from different stores, but now I need to make the body suit. What I’m looking for is preferably quilted leather with one inch in between knits, but in general the faux leather used would be perfect. Only thing is I’m having trouble finding it in town and online, so if anyone has a link it would be really helpful. Thanks.

Caribbean Carnival can be thought of like USA’s Halloween.
This is the time of year we wear costumes.

My youth group has a costume party for month end.

Because I am very short sighted, and NEED to wear my glasses, most costumed super heroes like spiderman etc. are out of the question. I don’t want to dress as spiderman and spend the whole night stumbling over people’s feet.

The only idea I have so far is Iron-man, because it is a full body suit, with a helmet … so I could still wear my glasses without spoiling the costume.

Any other ideas ?

my daughter loves princess jasmine so i got her this costume yesterday and think its really cute but her dad is saying its "too slutty". whats your opinions? was i wrong in getting her that?? shes going to where a body suit under so her belly isnt exposed.

I’m dressing my daughter up this year for Halloween as Pebbles from the Flintstones and live in a cooler climate, so I was looking for a full-bodysuit that’s flesh colored to put under her outfit so that she’s not cold. I just can’t seem to find any. I’d be happy with a long-sleeved body suit that was flesh colored. I’m sure I can find a pair of tights or pants that would work for the bottoms- but I really just need something to cover up her belly and arms. If anyone knows where I can find one, or has any ideas of what I could do, I’d appreciate it! She’s wearing as size 12-18 months right now.

I have a full body suit gorilla costume from last year or should I be dath vader with the whole helmet and voice changer thing. Thanx

I’ve seen a few female stormtroopers, and one female Vader. It looks like great fun, but I can’t find anywhere to buy them. If I found the proper chest plates, helmets, boots, belts, and guns (and cape for Vader) I could easily get my own body suit.

I feel that they never get the batman costume correct. the nose guard looks like a parrot’s beak, the voice used by Christian Bale is semi-ridiculous. If the batman had a more sleek, full-body suit, that enclosed his mouth, he could be more agile, and his voice could be altered electronically. the weapons the bat uses could melt in and out of his costume as well. What do you think? P.S.: the Joker was awesome!
he was once covered from head to toe in all black. it was during the batman begins movie. the scarecrow had inhaled some of his own fear toxin. when he saw the batman, he looked like a man-bat in all black with a tar-like substance leaking from his mouth. also i wouldn’t mind if the costume stayed traditional, just get it right. there’s no reason why the Owl’s costume in the WATCHMEN MOVIE should look better than batman’s.
