My son is a 10 year old boy who really wants to see the dark knight but everybody I talk to says it is dark and evil…. Should I let him see it?

I watched it last night, I plan on letting my 13 year old watch it, but I wouls suggest if you have concerns watch it in advance & make your own judgement call.
That movie is kinda long he’ll probably end up falling asleep.
My 10 year old brother saw it, and he just thought it was boring.
I don’t know, maybe your son will like it :]
WOW (some1 is a littlie over pretective) mi 7 year old brother saw it (its a kick ass movie)
yes, most def. lol
best movie of 2008 =)
At 10 he should be fine, maybe watch it with him though
its worth it. but there are some jumpy parts in the movie but its about the joker and batman so he might like it.
Are you seriously gonna trust what some unknown strangers say? Seriously, watch it yourself, and get your own opinion. or ask someone who you know has a opinion you value, don’t ask complete strangers.
And my opinion is, It depends on the kid.
it’s not all that dark and evil i mean theres like no blood in the whole movie and i got a 10 yr old cousin who saw it with me the only kind of like morew violent parts is there is a guy with a scar on his stomache with a bomb inside his stomache and it blows up and the pencil trick but still no blood
yes. just make sure he knows that its just a movie.
Yeah, it’s worth it.
umm i think its ok. I saw it yesterday. Except for an couple of parts its ok.
You should watch it yourself, first. This movie has a very dark and psychotic Joker – very unlike the Jack Nicholson Joker. There are some scenes that are pretty intense, and you should be the judge of whether or not you want your son to watch them.
.
of course yes.
it’s full of action, maybe he can see his favorite superhero batman and joker.
it’s a great movie for everyone, let him watch.
It is a bleak, dark movie, and some things might go over his head. Also, I think it’s just shy of being an R-rated movie.
I don’t cringe or shy away at movies, but there were a couple moments that made me cringe — one from how evil the Joker is, and another where Batman’s beating the Joker to a pulp. Batman’s anger is intense.
Like others have said, you should watch it first.
But I think 10 is too young. This movie is made for adults, not kids.
I think a 10 yr old can handle it. It’s an amazing movie! The only dark and evil thing about it is the Joker- he is really disturbing in some scenes, and might give a kid nightmares, but as long as he knows it’s just a movie, he should be fine.
yes because i know someone who let their son go. he’s 11. I also saw the movie there’s probably only 2 or 3 "bad words" in it. there’s no sex things only one kiss that’s all.
