I don’t think it is dumb at all, I have seen variations on this before, you didn’t say what your boyfriend was going to be it would be better if you dressed as a couple. I would do a short skirt, the boots, and a cropped top with the long sleeves, of course the hat. If you went with low cut top also I would wear a sequined choker, and black sequined belt. put a row of white around/with the fur, and add bells you want to sparkle and stand out for a contest. If your bf isn’t really into it put him in some really cool P.J.s with a piece of mistletoe in His robe pocket, make it a satin robe if you can and the sleep hat they used to wear if he would. He will be willing to go to bed to wait for "Santa" Have fun.

I don’t think it’s dumber than any other costumes. All costumes are dumb, but they are fun. I love Halloween and see nothing wrong with that. Would he be Santa then?

Mrs. Claus always wears a bikini. Most people don’t realize this because she is so fat you cannot see the bikini.

I agree with the poster who said its more for Christmas than for Halloween … animal costumes can be really sexy, where you wear something sexy with animal ears and a tail.

You should do whatever you want, and you don’t have to always listen to what your boyfriend tells you. If he can’t say anything nice he shouldn’t say anything at all, you are your own person and have your own choices he can’t make them for you. So I would say go ahead, but a sexy Santa is a bit unoriginal, so if you wanted to win the prize you might try something that no one has done. (But it can still be sexy if you want) But in the end it is up to you to make a choice.

Cute idea! It would be easy to make also. Get a few yards of red velvet, white fur and some tulle. The tulle is for under the skirt, to make it "pouf" out.
