For my little one, she will be four months by halloween, we are going to dress up together. I saw the cutest lamb costume and decided she will be a lamb and I will be Mary(Mary had a little lamb, of course)! I thought it would be so cute! I want us to stand out a little cause I love showing her off! lol
I would go unique if I were you, make her fun and noticable. if you have never been to this site http://www.buycostumes.com it has an amazing amount of cute costumes for babies, adults, kids and animals. and very well priced imo!
id do something like strawberry shortcake or ladybug…. princess and angel are overdone get creative!
My daughter at one years old was a skeleton…thanks, Daddy. This year, it’s my turn to buy the Halloween costume! I’m going to dress her up as a duck, her favorite animal.
Go for unique. My daughter was a dinosaur last year.
I would do the milk or cupcake. Those sound adorable! I wish I could do that for my girls (twins).
First year, she was a lion.
Second year, I made an M&M costume for her and she LOVED it more than anything.
I say go unique if you can. I remember the year I was a Christmas Tree, my mom took tutu material (green of course) and put it on a triangular outfit, and I wore a star on my head. Ornaments all over. I must have been 4, and I remember winning a contest. I remember the year I dressed up as a Kermit. O_O I don’t remember the mundane normal costumes in between. The strange and the silly is what I remember most.
Add: This year my daughter (2) is asking to be a pirate. So we’re considering dressing her baby brother up as either a parrot, a crocodile or a treasure chest.
This is going to sound awful, but my eldest was 5 1/2 months old his first Halloween, and we were a little broke, so I dressed him as a ventriloquist’s dummy. All I needed was black eye liner to draw two lines down his chin and he already had a dress shirt and pants…..viola!
I know I am a horrible mother, but heavens it was funny!
The next year he went as a cow boy. I bought a hat at the dollar store and already had a bandanna. He wore his boots and jeans and a pearl snap shirt (all his own clothing) and the only thing we really spent money on was a little set of cap guns and holsters. Whole costume cost me 8 dollars!
It is something she will wear once, don’t spend a big ol’e bunch of money!
i would totally do the ladybug costume. i really liked it when i saw it in the store the other week. i have a son so he’s going to be a tiger for his first halloween.
My little girl will be 8 months old and I decided on a lil monster costume since it was so dang cute. There were so many costumes out there and I looked forever but think I got the best one for her. It should be in this week and I’ll post a pic.
Mother care has some beautiful Bee and Ladybird outfits, that are tutu dresses with wings ;0
(So like a cross between a fairy and a ladybird lol)
Also Ebay do some wonderful Victorian type dresses for little ones, so she could be the queen of hearts or a princess or something
They are very dramatic, and she’d be sure to stand out from the crowd.

The cup cake is adorable! Last year my daughter was a ladybug and this year I just got her a butterfly costume. I personally love animal costumes for the little ones. I’d go with the cup cake, goes with the party theme as well!
You could shop around

There are a lot of kid costumes there.
The Cupcake/Glass of Milk idea is wonderful, you should totally do something that’s sweet and stand out just like that.
