pirate and nerd costumes HELP!!!?

we r having a pirate day and a nerd day at school for homecoming week. for nerd day i was thinking somewhere along the lines of ugly betty but i’m not sure what exactly and i don’t know the best place to get the stuff. for pirate day i was thinking a plaid skirt a white kind of puffy dress shirt a black vest and a scarf to go around my head but again i’m not sure exactly and i don’t know where to get the stuff. i don’t want anything i’m gonna end up taking off or that will get in my way during school (no fake glasses). and this is kind of last minute so PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

knee high white socks and loafers or tennis shoes. knee length plaid skirt pulled up above the waist. tucked in polo. hair in a messy ponytail or bun, big big glasses. not wide rimmed. what I did was poped the lenses out of my dads aviators. that way you can still see. but if you dont want fake glasses its okay. I did this and it was the best ever!!!!
pirate…. wellll…… eyepatch works well, uhhh… oversizes white tee, get it all dirty with like, makeup or something. rope belt. brown capris or denim works, preferrably ripped up!. hmmm… put brown makeup on your arms and legs and face to make you look grimy. get your hair all frazzly, and of course, bandana.
