Is there really gonna be a BatMan dark knight sequel.?

Alot of people are saying what heros and stuff should be in the dark knight sequel but are they even planning it?

Given the amount of money "The Dark Knight" took in, it is inevitable that there will be another Batman movie although it most likely will not be a sequel to "The Dark Knight." Naturally, director Christopher Nolan would be the first choice to direct the inevitable next Batman film, but he is under no obligation to do so; contrary to assumptions, Nolan is not under contract to direct a third Batman movie.
I suspect that Nolan will contract to do another Batman film, but that will be down the road and nothing you hear about a "Dark Knight sequel" should be regarded as factual for quite some time. Until there is an official announcement, any "information" about any future Batman movie or movies is mere rumor.
It would be at least two years minimum, before another Batman film could be released no matter who was to direct the film and it will likely be longer.
Have some patience, because you really don’t have any other choice.

ive heard that they are making another batman movie, but theres nooooo way anybody can play a better joker than ledger did, so why does it even matter
yes they are. apparently everything has to be done in three parts now.
there definately will be one no matter what, but whether or not christian nolan decides to direct it again isnt certain although he has stated in an interview he was considering at least a trilogy

Warner Bros will be releasing another Batman movie. This is in the plan the have to bulk up and promote their comic book flicks over the next three years.
It is unsure if Nolan will return to direct but Bale has signed for three movies. Rumors of the Riddler played by Depp are just that… rumors. The movie has not been scripted yet and thus there is no casting decisions to be made. This rumor has grown from the fact that Depp had taken over part of the role on Ledgers last movie.

Yes there will be Batman sequel. Whether or not the Joker will even be back for it is unknown.
Nolan has done a good job casting good actors so if he decides to recast Joker, so be it. Before the Dark Knight, so many people thought it would be tough to beat Jack Nicholson’s Joker. I don’t know anyone who didn’t think "WTF?? The dude from Brokeback Mountain is playing Joker??" But Heath did a great job.
If it wasn’t before, with the film hitting the 300 million mark in it’s first week of showings, it is now. I just pray to God that Hollywood doesn’t jack it up the way they did the first series
There is a series of the dark knight cartoons, so yes there will probably be a sequel.
Yes(hopefully!). It might be hard to make a sequel better than this but with Chris Noland, anything is possible. There are rumors of Riddler and Catwomn, but I’d like Black Mask as the villain and Vicky Vale as the girlfriend. The title should be "Batman:Mask of a Hero" or "The Caped Crusader" to go with the Black Mask Villain. This is an opinion not an answer, SORRY!
Obviously, there will be another one. If you payed attention during the film, there are many clues indicating another film.
If the rumors become true about Depp playing The Riddler and Cher playin Catwoman, I will not see it.
