I want to read a book about a mermaid, any recommendations?

I just really love mermaids, are there any books centering around a mermaid protagonist or something like this?

Mary Janice Davison wrote a couple of books about a mermaid. They’re pretty good, can’t remember the names.
i remember reading "water" (the trilogy) by kara dalkey when i was younger
This maybe kind of cheesy, but there’s a book from the series Sabrina the teenage witch series called Sabrina, down under; where she goes to Australia and incidentally saves a group of mer-people while intentionally saving an endangered fish. They also made it into a movie.
The Last Mermaid by Shana Abe is a good one.
