I mean in the story not by when the films were made
I wanted to know if the Batman in The Dark Knight is still a novice from Batman Begins

When the movie was first getting set to come out Nolan and Bale said that it took place about a year later. Batman wiki says it’s 9 months later.
The idea was that Bruce had been Batman for awhile and that the city had started to turn around. By TDK they wanted Batman to be more of an established figure. Batman’s and Gordon’s presence had started to fight back some of the corruption, that’s how Harvey Dent had been able to be elected as district attorney.
The movie’s promotion campaign also involved alot of internet stuff. This also helps to establish that it was about 9 months between the two movie storylines. Such as newspaper articles documenting the time between BB and TDK.
Also a correction to the other post. It is Gordon that gives Batman the Joker card at the end of Batman Begins, not Dent.
I would guess a fairly short amount of time. Anywhere from 1-4 months.
Based on the fact that Harvey gives Batman the Joker card at the end of Batman Begins.
The Wayne Mansion is not rebuilt yet, as Batman is living in the Condo or whatever in the Dark Knight.
I’m sure there’s more clues. It’s been awhile since I watched it.
