How much money did Katie Holmes miss out on by turning down The Dark Knight?

She turned down The Dark Knight, one of the most financially successful films ever, to do Mad Money, which flopped. Think of all the residuals that could now be in the hot little hands of her kooky church!

Her Alien Scientology Church probaby told her not to do it. Bahaha.
Seriously though…She is more then likely hating herself for turning it down. But who cares. Maggie Gyllenhaal was much much better anyways!
who cares?!?
about 3 fiddy.
I’m not sure she turned it down. I think they replaced her on purpose. She sucked in the first one.
LOL to her.
She also turned it down because Tom Cruise didn’t want her to do it, because he is a brainwashing weirdo. She definitely missed out on millions and millions of dollars. And Mad Money looked like the dumbest movie ever.
i heard it wasn’t her who turned it down, but rather it was them not wanting her again.
Oh my god, i’m glad she turned it down, i’d have hated her to be in that.
Reason she didnt do Dark Knight according to wiki
After speculation about her reprising her role in The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, it was finally confirmed by her agent that she would not appear because she did not want to spend too much time away from her family.

So its possible she did turn it down. As for the question. It dont matter how much money she would have made from it, shes already got tons of money from other movies and i’m sure Tom Cruise is sharing his wealth as well.
i don’t think she turned it down, i’ve read that they didn’t want her to do the dark knight and wanted someone else instead. (not like she’s hurting for money anyway!)
A lot!!!
she was pregnant during that time thats why she couldn’t do it
I’ve spent about 10 minutes looking, and it doesn’t list actor’s salaries anywhere.
Reportedly, Christian Bale earned: $38,000,000 US and Heath Ledger’s estate earned: $75,000,000 US.
(I’m sure those numbers are wrong, unless Heath earned more than Christian.)
Katie Holmes was paid $1 million for Batman Begins, and Maggie Gyllenhaal was paid $0.5 million for a movie the year before. No word on what she got for TDK.
It may have been strictly a financial decision. She may have been asking for a large pay increase, and the producers simply felt that it would be easier to replace her.
