How do I do this? Halloween with a toddler?
My little girl is almost 15 months old and today they are having a thing downtown where they block off the streets and the businesses pass out candy. It covers about 10 blocks. If I put her in the stroller, she won’t be very comfortable because she is going to be a unicorn with wings and a tail. If I take her by the hand and try to walk her, she will do this dead weight thing and laugh because she thinks it’s a game. I could carry her but she weighs about 26 pounds and it will be so tiring. I don’t know what to do about this. There’s a lot to the costume so even if I had a sling which I don’t, it wouldn’t work. What should I do?
Unfortunately, none of my family is coming. My husband works today and the rest of my family lives far away.
A lot of people say to pull her in a wagon but I don’t have one and I have no way to get one. Any other suggestions?

It sounds like the stroller is the best option. Maybe try to put the tail to the side so its less uncomfortable and is noticeable, and pull the wings out so everyone can see those too.
My daughter just turned one and she is a Care Bear. We went last night and I was thanking God for that stroller LOL.
Seems like a stroller is your only option at this point. Take off her wings & tail.. then when you are ready to collect the candy & browse around take her out of the stroller, put her tail & wings back on.
Walk her and push the stroller, or let her push it she will probably quite enjoy it. Good luck
Make her understand that if she wants to go and get candy she’ll just have to cooperate and walk.
