I want to try and go for a "old hollywood" look. Sometime between the 20′s and 40′s.
Anyone have ideas for hair, shoes, make-up, or jewelry?

The hair style in the 20s was short and in a bob-style. Red lipstick..for sure, and a lot of it. Excessive amounts of make-up was very popular. Large gems and all sorts of stones.
Well try pearls and a twist bun with maybe a beaded clutch and ofcoarse the red lipstick and maybe a dark eye or if you want to go modern go with some red stilletos and a red clutch with you hair down and slightly curled
Hope I helped Good Luck!
doyou have red hair like it seems in your pic
well…do this if and ONLY if u have brown hair
Bright red lips, smokey eyes, chunky white or silver necklace, black pumps, and big curls in your hair..like a marilyn monroe hair look
(im going for a 40′s/red carpet look that’s what you want right?)
creating the sophisticated look
1. Apply a light eyeshadow over your entire eyelid from lash line to eyebrow bone, but not beyond.
2. Define the crease of your eyelid using a medium or dark shade. The deeper the shade, the more dramatic look.
3. To open up your eyes so that they appear livelier, place a dot of a light shade in the inner corner of each eye.
Tip: When choosing an eyeshadow shade, keep in mind that a pastel shade will look softer while a darker shade will appear more dramatic when applied. perfecting your pout
1. Apply color onto the center of your lips, blending up and out to the lip line working towards the corners.
2. For longer lasting color, gently blot with tissue, reapply lipstick and blot again.
3. For evening, remember to select a lipstick one or two shades deeper than your daytime color. Tip: For a creamy effect, apply a lip balm to lips before applying lipstick. Step 1: Curl random sections of hair around a one-and-a-half-inch curling iron to create loose curls (they’ll give your style more dimension). Pull back the right side of your hair, and pin securely to the back of your head with bobby pins.
Step 2: Take the rest of your hair and twist it toward your right shoulder. Keep tucking to create a soft French twist. Pin it for hold as you go.
Try: Scunci Hair Pins, $2 for pack of 100, drugstores
Step 3: End the twist at the nape of your neck, and secure the style with large bobby pins where it meets your head. Let the rest of your hair fall into a pony; spray with strong-hold hairspray.
Try: Sunsilk Hold Me Forever Strong Hold Hairspray, $4, drugstores & FOR JEWELRY WATEVVA U WANT
