Halloween costumes for 2 girls?

My school puts on a haunted house every Halloween weekend, and my friend and I are guides. Last year we just threw on random clothes and fake piercings, but this year we want a theme (Our friends were pirates)
So does anyone know of a good costume idea for 2 16 year old girls? It’s the school, so we can’t be sleezy, and we don’t want to wear giant outfits like salt and pepper shakers or something. And we don’t want to cross-dress.
We’ve searched a lot of costume websites, and all the group ideas are for 3+.
Help please?

Twins – Wear the same shirts and jeans or pants, the same accessories like earrings, necklaces, etc, and do your hair the same way. Go as twins!
Daytime Talk Show Hosts – Rachael Ray, Oprah, the women from the View, Ellen, Martha Stewart, Bonnie Hunt, Tyra Banks, Kelly Ripa, etc.
Newswomen – Nancy Grace, Barbara Walters, Ann Curry, Katie Couric, Greta Van Susteren, etc.
Food Network Chefs – Paula Deen, Julia Child, Giada DeLaurentis, Sandra Lee, etc.
Spa Goers – Wear pajamas and then a robe over them. Put your hair up in a towel and do your face like you’re getting a facial. Then paint your nails and your toe nails. Wear slippers or flip flops.
Miss America Contestants – Each of you pick a different state!
