Re: the tooth fairy. A big toothbrush with glitter could be your wand. You could buy/find a large brush that resembles a basic toothbrush in shape, then spray-paint it white (including the bristles),add some stripes on the side, cover it in glitter and hit with a coating of clear lacquer to finish it off. If the handle doesn’t have a hole, drill one, and then curl a bunch of different colored ribbon and tie it to the end.
I think the tooth fairy would be cute. I’ve also seen some great peacock ideas before…just need a green outfit to wear and either feathers to attach to the back or some fabric or cardboard to decorate like a feather fan and attach to the back.
I like your Tooth Fairy costume idea! The website dentistry.about.com features instructions for how to make a Tooth Fairy costume, if you’re interested in it!
A tooth fairy is a good idea. You can buy or make one easy. Try a fair or angle costume and change it around. If you have a toga type dress you can tie a tutu around it.
Buy some white felt and cut out tooth shapes and attach to a string around your neck. You can also buy some play coins at a Dollar Store. Some times other stores have play money. You can also wear a tooth brush necklace….you can use dental floss for the string.
Get some poster board to cut out wings and tape them to your costume.
I’ve been having a problem finding a good female costume that isn’t slutty too. It seems that that is all they are selling this year. And I too am a bigger girl. I wear a size 14. What are they thinking?
