I make chocolate graveyard and everybody seems to enjoy it:
Use either a cake with chocolate icing, or chocolate pudding, as a base. Crush chocolate cookies to make "dirt" and spread over the icing or pudding. Use Milano cookies as gravestones - you can write RIP on them with chocolate icing using either a cake decorating tool or by filling a plastic baggie with icing and cutting off one corner to use as the ‘tip’. Using the same decorating tool, paint eyes and mouths on mini marshmallows to make "skulls". You can add Peeps ghosts or make them out of whipped cream with chocolate chips for eyes (I like the Peeps). Then buy miniature pumpkin candy and place the pumpkins around your "graveyard". You can even use black licorice for trees.
Pumpkin Dip:
4 c. confectioners sugar
2 (8 oz. each) pkg. cream cheese
1 (30 oz.) can pumpkin pie filling mix
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
Cream the cream cheese until smooth, add the powdered sugar slowly until thoroughly mixed. Add the pumpkin and spices. Mix well. Chill for 1 - 2 hours.
This dip is great with ginger snaps and those graham cracker sticks.
