We LOVE Halloween. For the past 4 years, he has entered a costume contest in our neighborhood. He won first place when he was a scarecrow, dracula, a robot (that I made him) and came runner up when he was a pirate. However, this year, we are stumped as to what he should be.

How about a sheriff. See website below.
A mime! Black pants, black or black and white striped shirt and maybe some red suspenders. White gloves ($1.50 at walmart), and some white face paint. Teach him some mime movements or let him see some on youtube, It’s cheap, easy, unique, and FUN!
one of the munchkins from the Wizard of Oz, or a flying monkey
Mario, Sonic, or Yoshie
captain underpants=)
red cape, muscle shirt, whitie tighties and some black tights!
Here is a link to buycostumes.com, they have a huge sale on right now. Costumes under $15 (very affordable) but it sounds like you are very capable of creating your own costume, so check out the costumes here for some ideas as to what you can make.
