Any ideas on making a halloween costume?

My step-Daughter and Niece want me to be a half-angel half-devil for Halloween. I have never made a costume before so i don’t know where to start. Ideas Please!?!

Family Fun magazine is one of the best places for Halloween ideas. They have lots of simple costume ideas that usually incorporate things you have around the house.

have angel wings a devil tail red horns and a halo leaning off on one horn.
horns and halo. get red construstion paper and make a cone. get glow in the dark paper for the halo. if not then just use a bright color. make a cylander that gets a little smaller at the top and tape it all the way down. cut it in strips and put them smallest to largest inside each other and tape it to one horn.
Angel Wings. all you really need is white feathers and white construction paper or cardbored. glue the feathers on starting from the inside closest to the body to the tips.
Devil Tail. same as wings. cut the shape into cardbored and just paint it red.
get creative! wear red pants and white shirt. maybe get red elf shoes!
Last Year my granddaughter wanted me to be Tinker Bell’s protector and I found a real short black dress and bought a set of wings and had a mask it turned out pretty cool so my advice to you would be a white dress and red mask with red wings until you put it together it will sound funny. Oh and the little horns. Have a good time
Something I did last year was going through my closet for unusual items. I then placed them on my bed and asked myself, "What does this look like?" I had an old style black dress, long sleeve with white sleeves. From there, I added black tights, propper black shoes, and a black viel. Before you know it, I was a nun!
get thier advice on how. kids are creative. just go up to them and say im stuck on how to do this so im just gonna wrap myself up in tinfoil and go as a left over. lol. they will be more than glad to help you!!!! and its fun for you and for them. good luck
