Can you keep them as pets?

I would most definitely feed it well, take it for walks, and give it all the love and attention it deserves.

I would also buy it funny costumes, like…. maybe a clown? Or I’d dress it up as Arnold from Diff’rent Strokes (word son). OOMPA LOOMPA! I’d even teach it to dance.

Please advise… any professional opinions?

I know there are so many pet stores… but this is what I really want to do with my life
my petstore would be different…
I would have a grooming station and a Photography station within the store… i dont want a huge store… I want more of a boutique.
I would probably want a total of 4 groomers (having 2 work the first 5 hours its open and the second 2 working the last 5 hours its open)
I would want 2 photgraphers… again one working first 5 one working second 5.
I would sell cute doggy clothes/ coats/ halloween costumes, Collars, Leashes, cat &dog toys, Food (but only the healthy non-filler foods), Home made treats, normal treats.
I would not sell any pets… I would however promote the humaine societies in my area.
I would sell beds/blankets/shampoo (other grooming stuff), and then just stuff for dog owners… like those shirts and mugs that say "I love my German Sheperd"

So do you think a store like this would stay open?
I would plan on opening it in an upper-middle or upper class area.
during the holidays we would have santa come in… so people could take picture with their pets and santa!

my wife and i need some help on halloween costumes. we want something very creative, (ie, no salt & pepper, nut and bolt, ketchup and mustard, wizard of oz characters, etc…) we don’t want something that we can easily find online; (we’d rather make something.)

in the past we have gone as popeye and olive oyl, flinstones, old people, beetlejuice and lydia, football player and cheerleader, geek and supermodel, quail man and patty mayonaise…

again, we don’t really want anything that other people will have. (nun and priest, popular movie characters, etc…) we wouldn’t mind doing movie characters, but we’d rather it be less common.

also, we have a puppy that we would like to dress up, (doesn’t need to be the same as us.) she is a lighter haired dog, so we considered getting washable, pet-safe hair dye and dying black spots on her to make her a dalmation. but not sure how safe that stuff is. any help there would be appreciated also.

i recently talked with my friends about starting a business and we decided on a business called Pet-Fuzz. we get 5 gallon buckets and put pet bathing stuff in them (you know, sponges,soap,brushes). we also make costumes and take pictures of animals. i just wanted to see if any one had any more good ideas.

All my life Ive Loved pets… especially dogs so I kinda had a brainstorm (Is that what you call it?): What If I opened a pet store… Like in a high class area in Toronto like the Shopping district or somewhere cool in toronto
And my pet store would be high end… Id sell like cute collars and coats and halloween costumes at winter time… Id sell those little gourmet treats and cupcakes and the store would look very classy and elegant… Now I know what your thinking… "dogs from pet stores come from puppy mills" and "theres already a million High-end pet stores"… but what will make this one different is I want to have 2 big screens on the wall One with Pictures and Bios of dogs in the local shelter and the other with pictures of cats at the local shelter… the customer could come in, pic a pet(S) and buy his supplyes and then go to one of the local shelters to pick up his pooch or feline

…is that a reasonable idea??? I would not be selling fish or hamsters…the only living creature in my store would be my own dog

I think its great because people wwho already have dogs can shop there or people who are looking for a dog can shop there AND save a pets life!

I plane to dress my dog up as a dinosaur for halloween this year. I thought that it would be cool to use the costume again, but transform it into a dragon for next year. I was wanting ideas on what to add to make it more dragon-ish. I was thinking wings for sure, maybe seeing if i could add something that looks like its breathing fire. Any ideas are helpful!

My barn is having a Halloween party with a costume contest. I’m really excited..but I can’t think of the perfect costume. Could someone help me out? Any really cool ideas? I’m trying to stay away from obvious ones (cowgirl and horse, headless horseman, etc)
